Nimmin Proposals — User Guide
1. What Proposals is
proposals.nimmin.online is where Nimmin builds and tracks commercial proposals: a pipeline of every bid, a line-item estimate editor backed by the company's reference price books, and the generated deliverables (proposal documents, crew documents) attached to each record.
2. Signing in & access
Open it from the Workspace (nimmin.online) — you'll be signed in automatically. Access is limited to admin, PM and commercial roles; anyone else sees a message asking an admin for access.
3. The pipeline
- The Pipeline tab lists every proposal with its client, value and status — follow a bid from draft to submitted to won/lost.
- Create a new proposal, or open an existing one to continue in the editor.
4. The estimate editor
- Add line items — pull rates from the reference price books (AURA MVAC ledger prices and the standard ELV/MEP price list) or enter your own.
- You can import quantities from a BOQ/quote spreadsheet, and large drawings can be read in for AI-assisted take-off.
- Apply factors (margins, overheads) and set the terms — the totals update live.
- Press Save whenever the button shows a dot (Save • means unsaved changes).
Generated documents (the proposal itself, crew documents) are attached to the pipeline record — you'll always find the latest version on the proposal, not in someone's downloads folder.
5. Prices, rates & referrals
- Prices / Rates tabs hold the reference books the editor draws from — keep them current so estimates start from real numbers.
- Referrals tracks who introduced each opportunity.
6. Problems?
- "Limited to admin / PM / commercial"? Ask an admin to set your role.
- Login shows instead of the app? Go to nimmin.online first, sign in, then open the Proposals tile.
